3 Things You Can Do Today To Start Losing Weight for Free

Im going to Share with you some of the basic things that I recommend to anyone who is Starting their weight-loss journey!

First thing I always recommend is getting more steps in! Every 2k steps you take throughout the day is equal to a mile of walking! This can add up to 100 Calories burned for every mile that you walk.

The easiest way to implement walking more is to simply take a 10-15 minute walk after each meal. I have found that this is extra useful for those who work from home or a sedentary job.

Second I always recommend tracking your food. Just by tracking your food you will lose %50 more weight than those who don’t track.

Added benefits to tracking food are that it increases mindfulness of your food, helps keep you on track, informs you of what nutrients make up your foods, helps you better understand your current eating habits, and best of all helps to keep you accountable.

There are a few different ways you can track your food, I prefer using an App like MyFitnessPal (the free version is all you need) or something similar, but some people are known to just Write it down!

The third recommendation that I have is to plan out your week. Yes it’s that simple. Plan your grocery list and don’t stray from it. Plan how you are going to exercise for the week. Whether that be just basic walks, cardio at the gym, or my personal favorite, weight training.

We are creatures of habit so make sure you start developing the correct habits to help move your weight-loss in the right direction!
