3 Things your doing Wrong at the Gym
Slow down your repetitions! At almost every public gym I constantly see people doing reps with a half second negative and half second contraction. Simply slow these down to 1-3 seconds for both parts of the rep and focus on Squeezing the muscle your targeting.
Don’t take super long breaks between each set! I often see people on their phone or chatting to another gym goer between sets. These things themselves are not the problem as long as you return to do another set between 30 seconds to a minute (Exceptions of course). Keep the intensity high and the results will come quicker!
Having a Plan before you enter the gym will keep you accountable. Trust me I used to do the same thing. Walk in knowing what body part/parts I was training but not having a set plan. Doing this causes you to repeat similar workouts every day. Those workouts in turn become less and less effective not to mention boring. Having a plan will force you to try new exercises, sets, rep ranges, and get more results. Plus its always good leaving the gym accomplishing everything on your plan!
